Custom Items

The children probably don't want to hear this, but it will soon be time to prepare for a new school year.  Below you will find new items especially created to be "school and homeschool friendly."  In addition to this new collection, you will also find many practical school dresses, jumpers, skirts and blouses on our girl's custom made page.  For those in a big hurry, we have many ready-made items available as well. 

Charter schools looking for uniforms are welcome to e-mail with an inquiry.  We are able to obtain a variety of easy-care poly/cotton materials for your students' uniforms.

Verna's Jumper

Without buttons or fastenings, Verna's jumper allows any child to dress herself and be comfortable but neat all day long.  The bodice crosses over itself either in the front or back, depending on your preference.  It comes down to a natural waist length and the crossover design naturally allows room for growth.  The skirt is gathered, long and full.

Tabard Jumper

A traditional school uniform worn by students all around the world.  Our lined tabard buttons to the front and back of the skirt, allowing you to remove it when you want to wear just the skirt.  The skirt has front pockets and is gathered between the pockets.  The back elastic waistband creates a gentle, comfortable fit.  While this jumper is shorter than our other traditional jumpers, it is longer than store-bought school jumpers and remains modest by falling below the knee.  You may request a specific length if you want a longer skirt.  This jumper is traditionally made in navy blue or black, but you may choose any of our fabrics to create a unique look. Girl's Charity Dress

For many, the cape dress defines what a modest dress should be.  Charity's Cape Dress has a full cape in front and back, a gentle elastic waist and invisible back zipper.  It matches our ladies Charity Cape Dress.  The skirt is gently gathered at the waist and very full at the hem.  There are no extra bells and whistles on this dress.  It's a simple, practical design and reflects the daily dress of older girls from conservative churches.  Available in sizes 8,10,12,14.  Pattern used by permission by Home-Sew Designing.

For those who desire a simple back zipper dress with an elastic waist, we can also make this dress without a cape.  Please see the options below.

Culotte Jumper

A great idea for girls who spend their playtime hanging upside down from the monkey bars.  The bodice has a raised waist and buttons down the front.  The culottes are gathered to the waist and fall to about knee length.  The overall length is about 3" shorter than our other jumpers and can be lengthened on request.

Back Button Blouse

Back button blouses are especially pretty with jumpers.  Ours has a straight hem, a peter pan collar and puffy, elbow length sleeves.  Long cuffed sleeves are available on request.  You are welcome to order blouses in any of our fabrics. Sewn by license from a pattern by "The King's Daughters".
