Jenna's Sundress and Jumper

A new favorite this past summer, Jenna's Sundress is a fun, loose, easy to wear dress with whimsical styling.  The top has a button bib in the front and buttons down the back bodice.  You may choose one fabric or use the link from our Fabric Chart to help you pick out two coordinating fabrics.  In winter, we think this dress will be sweet in denim, twill or corduroy.  Finished lengths can be found in the chart below, which we will continue to fill out as we make each size.  The overall ties are nice and long, which means that as your child grows, you can simply move the buttons and make this dress last for multiple seasons.  Side pockets are not available in this style and because of the multiple tiers, we are not modifying the length.

Spring Jumper

For this new jumper we have chosen a couple of sweet fabrics with matching border prints for the hem.  The colors are light and make us think of spring, yet the fabrics themselves have pretty green or icy blue snowflakes.  Kinda fun! 

The jumper has a slightly raised waist and buttons down the fully lined bodice.  Back ties are optional.  The arm openings are quite high and we think you may be able to wear this as a sundress come summer.

Pockets are available but length cannot be altered on this style.

Helen's Sundress and Jumper

Bonnie Blue Designs has given us permission to use their patterns and we think you'll enjoy their designs.  Helen's Sundress has a low elastic back with an easy fit.  The swing style skirt is fitted without gathers for a polished look.  We first considered this only as a sundress and then found that it is equally nice as a winter jumper over a turtleneck.  Approximate finished lengths are found in the chart below.  Because of the low back, we think that many of you will enjoy this style best with a shirt or one of our Raglan Blouses.  This dress is available in sizes 1 through 10.  Sewn by permission from a pattern by Bonnie Blue Designs.

Uniform Jumper

A tidy school uniform jumper made in a gentle A-Line shape.  The jumper zips in the back and is fully lined, eliminating the need for a slip.  Front patch pockets are available for girls who need places to stash pencils and erasers.  This jumper pairs nicely with any of our blouses or your own uniform shirt.  Made in a pattern, this design works nicely for anyone who would like a simple A-Line Jumper.  Available in sizes 4-14. Ginger's Jumper for Girls

We liked the pattern for our ladies Ginger's Jumper that we decided to try the girl's pattern as well.  The slightly raised waist buttons at the shoulders and is attached to a long, full skirt.  Back ties and hidden side pockets are optional.  This is a great jumper for everyday wear all year round and can be dressed up by simply putting a blouse underneath.  Approximate finished lengths can be found below.  Sewn by license from a pattern by "The King's Daughters".

Daisy Jumper

A dressy, natural waist jumper with a V-shaped Basque waistline.  The skirt is gently gathered and mid-calf length on most girls.  The bodice is lined and the jumper buttons at the shoulder. Approximate finished lengths are found in the cart below.

Becca's Jumper/Sundress

This adorable jumper has a gentle A-Line shape and mid-length skirt that comes below the knee.  There are no gathers at the waist and two little patch pockets on the front of the skirt.  Because of the raised armholes, this jumper is can be work appropriately as a sundress.  Try it in one fabric or coordinating prints.  Please see our Coordinating Fabrics page for help choosing fabrics.  It is accessible from the Fabric Chart. If your child wears a size 5 or 7, please size up to a 6 and 8.  Becca's Jumper is playful looking on a little girl and has a mature look on older girls. Approximate finished lengths are found below. Hannah's Jumper Set

Hannah's Jumper Set is a casual, playful outfit for younger girls complete with a blouse and jumper.  The jumper is has a raised waist and overall style shoulder straps.  A gathered skirt is attached and there's even one front pocket for stashing backyard treasures.  Approximate finished lengths can be found in the chart below. The back button blouse comes with standard puffed short sleeves but you may request elbow length or long elastic ruffle sleeves.  The collar is optional and can be removed.  We like this combination in checks and denims or solids, but you can choose from any of our selections. Let us know if you need help matching fabrics.  Hannah's Jumper Set is available in sizes 1-10.

Button Jumper Set

Our Button Jumper Set comes complete with a dress and jumper which can be worn together or by themselves.  The jumper is similar to our girl's Button Jumper and comes with back ties.  It will be made slightly shorter than the dress.  The dress comes standard with elbow length puffed elastic-ruffle sleeves, a zip back and long full gathered skirt. Optional long sleeves are gathered in a small ruffle at the wrist.  A peter pan collar can be added to the dress for an extra special touch.  Please see our Coordinating Fabrics page for help choosing fabrics.  It is accessible from Fabric Chart. Sailor Sundress

Isabella Jumper 

This jumper buttons down the front of a lined bodice.  It has a pointed collar and contrasting fabric on bottom of dress.  Just pair it with a shirt in the winter or use it as a sundress in the summer.  This jumper fits more snugly on top than most of our jumpers which allows it to work well as a sundress.  If you would like to use it as a jumper with a shirt underneath, we would recommend going up a size from our regular size chart.   We would recommend using a floral for the main part and a solid or quiet print for the accents.  Please see our Coordinating Fabrics page for help choosing fabrics.  It is accessible from Fabric Chart.  Approximate finished lengths are noted.  We will do our best to adjust them if you desire a different length.  Pattern used by permission from Primrose Lane.

Kelly's Jumper

A cute jumper with buttons at the shoulders. Bodice is slightly raised and comes fully lined. Kelly's Jumper is easily dressed up with a blouse or worn casual with a t-shirt or turtleneck.  We have improved the design  by raising the armholes, allowing girls to wear the jumper as a sundress without a shirt underneath.  Sizing is now available from 1 through 14. Button Jumper

Our basic jumper is a staple in any wardrobe and is very versatile.  It has buttons down front bodice coming to a natural waist. Amy's Jumper

A classic and dressy jumper with a high waistline and gathered skirt. Skirt is not as full as the above jumper.  Buttons extend down the entire length of the jumper. Overall Jumper

A relaxed and reasonably loose-fitting jumper that works great for all seasons.  In summer it is a wardrobe basic in poly-cotton and cotton.  In winter it works great in denim, twill, corduroy or denim.  Several of our customers use it as their standard uniform jumper for school. Just match it with a t-shirt or Raglan Blouse for a casual look or use a dressier blouse for special occasions.  In winter, it looks great with a turtleneck.  A bib bodice attaches at the shoulders. Bodice is fully lined and skirt is gathered at waist. Approximate finished lengths as found below.

Verna's Jumper

Without buttons or fastenings, Verna's jumper allows any child to dress herself and be comfortable but neat all day long.  The bodice crosses over itself in the front.  It comes down to a natural waist length and the crossover design naturally allows room for growth.  The skirt is gathered, long and full.   Approximate finished lengths are found below.

Tabard Jumper

A traditional school uniform worn by students in many countries. Our lined tabard buttons to the front and back of the skirt, allowing you to remove it when you want to wear just the skirt.  The skirt has front pockets and is gathered between the pockets.  The back elastic waistband creates a gentle, comfortable fit.  While this jumper is shorter than our other traditional jumpers, it is longer than store-bought school jumpers and remains modest by falling below the knee.  You may request a specific length if you want a longer skirt.  This jumper is traditionally made in navy blue or black, but you may choose any of our fabrics to create a unique look. Culotte Jumper

A great idea for girls who spend their playtime hanging upside down from the monkey bars.  The bodice has a raised waist and buttons down the front.  The culottes are gathered to the waist and fall to below knee length.  The approximate finished lengths are found below and can be lengthened by 3" on request. 

Gracie's Playclothes

Here's what we enjoy for backyard fun, riding bikes, walks and all the other summer activities where extra-long skirts may not be entirely practical.  It's also great for picnics and family gatherings where you want a something a bit dressy but don't want to hinder play.  Gracie's Sundress can be worn with or without a t-shirt but is sized to be worn without one.  The skirt is shorter than our other dresses and the fully lined bodice buttons up in the back.  Underneath there are matching or coordinating capri pants.  Please see our Coordinating Fabrics page for help choosing fabrics.  It is accessible from the Fabric Chart.

Chloe's Sundress

A sweet summer sundress for any occasion.  Chloe's Sundress is sized to be worn without a t-shirt.  It buttons up the back and comes with a same fabric or white round collar.  In a casual fabric, this sundress is great for everyday wear.  In a delicate floral with a white collar, it is quite dressy looking.  The bodice is fully lined and the skirt is full.

Ellie's Pinafore

Ellie's Pinafore has a front opening, a square neckline and buttons to the waist.  It is especially nice for covering a special occasion dress in that it allows you to still see part of the skirt. If we make this along with a dress, we will cut it to be a couple inches shorter than the dress.  If you are purchasing it to go with a dress you already have, just let us know how long you would like the pinafore to be.  Ellie's Pinafore is available in sizes 3-8.

Girl's Pinafore

This little pinafore with a high bodice was specially created for moms who want a practical cover that's easy to get on and off and for those who are looking for an authentic historical prairie look.  The pinafore buttons down the back bodice and there are no back ties to deal with.  It works especially well with any of our dresses with high yokes and is made to be a couple inches shorter than the dress.  Although classically made in white, you are welcome to choose any of our fabrics.  Toddler sizes with extra deep armholes are available on the Baby/Toddler page.

Dawn's Pinafore

The easy way to protect a good dress! This pinafore buttons down the back bodice and the back skirt is open so that the pinafore is easier to get on and off. A long back tie belt is optional. If you would also like to use it as a jumper, please request a closed skirt below.  It comes a couple of inches shorter than our dresses.  Sewn by license from a pattern by "The King's Daughters".
