Emily's Skirt

Girl's Jean Skirt

Here's our new slim style skirt for older girls.  Made in classic jean skirt styling, the seams are double stitched along the front and the V-yoke in the back.  The skirt has top seam pockets and a center seam in the front.  It is made with slight A-Line shaping and elastic waist for comfort but has a slim fit for girls who want a long but not full looking skirt.  We recommend this skirt in one of our heavier fabrics such as chambray, denim or twill, but you are welcome to try it in any of our fabrics.  Size chart and approximate finished lengths are found below.  Skirt design licensed from KWIK.SEW Pattern Co., Inc.

A carefree and playful skirt for girls. Girl's Prairie Skirt
A lighthearted long and flowing skirt. It comes with a large ruffle on the bottom and an elastic waistband. For winter it is very nice in denim, corduroy or brushed cotton. In summer, choose a light fabric.  With a generous waistline, this skirt can be worn at or below the waist.  Approximate finished lengths are found below. Girl's School Skirt

A great basic skirt for school which is simple but has a little style.  The waistband is gathered in the back and straight in the front with gathers in the middle.  Two front side pockets are attractive and convenient.  Sorry, we have not worked out the finished lengths for each size as of yet.

Raglan Blouse

Our Raglan sleeve blouses are simple and a great alternative to the casual t-shirt.  They slip on easily over the head and are long enough to be worn either tucked in or out.  Both the neckline and sleeves are finished with elastic in casings.  We like these blouses with both skirts and jumpers. Girl's Blouse

Back Button Blouse

Back button blouses are especially pretty with jumpers.  Ours has a straight hem, a peter pan collar and puffy, elbow length cuffed sleeves.  Short elastic ruffle sleeves and long cuffed sleeves are available on request.  You are welcome to order blouses in any of our fabrics. Prairie Bonnet

Fun for playing dress up, but also a practical way to keep the sun off your daughter's face and neck on hot summer days.  Fabric ties fasten under the neck and the back ruffle pulls in with elastic.  Choose any light fabric or make a bonnet to go with a new dress.  Heavy fabrics such as denim, corduroy, flannel etc. don't work well in this style.  Also available in ladies sizes.  Sewn by license from a pattern by "The King's Daughters."  Sizing is as follows:

X-Small (Baby), Small (Toddler), Medium (4-7 yrs), Large (7-10 yrs), XL (10 and up)

We do not recommend that you size up on these bonnets.  They are authentic to historical prairie bonnet sizing and therefore  larger than the hats we generally wear in this century.  Ladies can often wear a Girls XL in this design.
