Ladies Vest Dress
Our Ladies Vest Dress comes with
an attached V-neck vest in the front, short back ties and short or
3/4 length elastic ruffle sleeves. It closes in the back with
a zipper. Long sleeves with cuffs and a round collar are also
available. You may choose one or two fabrics for this dress.

Ruby's
Dress
Ruby's Dress is made in a classic
modest summer design with short, elbow length hemmed sleeves that
attach at the shoulder without gathers. The neckline is
fairly high and can come plain or with an added pointed or round
collar. The bodice zips in back. The skirt is long and
full and is gathered to the bodice.
Approximate finished length is 50" from top of shoulder to hem. This is a great everyday

Ava's Dress
Ava's Dress is a little different
from all our other designs. It is fairly straight with just a
slight flare in the skirt. It closes in the back with a zipper
and has back ties which bring in the waist for a bit of shape.
The high neckline is round and you can choose from short or long sleeves.
You may also have this made with a scoop neck which easily slips
over your head without the need for a zipper. Approximate
finished length from top of shoulder to hem is 50".

Tabitha's Dress
Tabitha's Dress comes in an easy
to wear design with a slightly squared neckline. There are no
buttons or zippers and the dress easily goes over the head.
Short sleeves are finished with either a simple hem or elastic at
the very end. Long sleeves are finished with a small cuff.
The bodice has small darts in the front and back and sits a little
above the natural waist. This dress fits quite loosely at the
waist. Please add back ties if you'd like to pull it in for a
trim fit. Approximate finished length from top of shoulder to
hem is 50". In the winter this dress is great with a
turtleneck. In the summer, it's quite comfortable and cool. Please order this dress based on your bust

Esther's Dress
Esther's Dress is a beautiful
design with bodice darts at the waist and a back zipper closing.
For a more formal look, we have dressed it up with a lace collar.
We are enjoying it for everyday wear with a round collar or plain
neckline. This dress comes with either short hemmed
sleeves or long sleeves finished with a small cuff. Back ties
are optional. On most ladies, the bodice will end just a
little above the natural waist. It tends to fit fairly loosely
a the waist so please add back ties if you would like to pull it in
for a trim fit. Approximate finished length

Eva's
Yoke Dress
A modest design for women that is
different from anything else on our website. The gored
skirt is full and easy to move in. It is gathered to the bodice
with a roomy elastic waist. The bodice is gathered to a
shoulder yoke and the back has an inverted box pleat. A band
collar finishes the neckline. The sleeves are gathered at the
shoulders and the long sleeves are finished with a small cuff.
3/4 length sleeves are finished with a small elastic ruffle. The overall design makes for a
very comfortable and modest dress. It can be worn alone but is
also a favorite for pairing with a vest, pinafore or apron.

Ladies
Basic Dress Set
Here's a practical way to stay a
little warmer in the winter months and also be ready for a day of
hard work. We have taken a Charity's Cape Dress and removed
the cape to make a comfortable elastic waist dress. It comes
with 3/4 length sleeves so your arms are covered but there's no need
to roll them up for work. The dress is suitable to be worn
alone and is about 50" long in all sizes. On top goes a coordinating Full Apron/Pinafore which
extends around the sides of the dress to cover the back and finishes
off with long ties. The back bodice buttons at the neck and is
simple to put on and take off. The apron is cut to measure
about 30" from the waist and is therefore shorter than the dress. We recommend using a solid for
one and a floral or plaid for the other.

Anna's
Cape Dress
This cape dress comes with a
full front and back cape and a simple, gathered waistline.
It
is made specifically for those who want a relaxed, modest fitting cape dress
that hangs loosely at the waist. The back closes with a zipper
and an elastic waist can be added for those who prefer it.
Standard sleeves are elbow length and finished with a simple hem but can be made 3/4 length or
long. These are finished with a small ruffle. We
think this dress has a looser fit than Charity's Cape Dress.
Approximate finished length from top of shoulder to hem is 50".

at the waist. This will not work if you choose the elastic
waist option.
Cape dresses are best made with
lightweight fabrics because of the number of layers the zipper must
zip up in the back. Our poly/cottons and regular cottons work
best. If you choose a heavier fabric, you will need to be very
careful with the zipper.

Charity's
Cape Dress
For many, the cape dress defines
what a modest dress should be. Charity's Cape Dress has a full
cape in front and back, a gentle elastic waist and invisible back
zipper. We find that it fits beautifully and drapes
quite nicely. The overall finished look is quite tailored. The skirt is gently gathered at the waist and
very full at the hem. There are no extra bells and whistles on
this dress. Short sleeves at about elbow length are standard
but you may choose 3/4 or long sleeves. This dress is a simple, practical design and reflects the
daily dress of many women from conservative churches.
For those who desire a simple
back zipper dress with an elastic waist, we can also make this dress
without a cape. Please see the options below.
Sizing for this dress is based on
your bust and waist size. In order for this dress to fit
properly, please measure carefully and use the
dropdown menu to choose the appropriate size. Use the larger
size if between sizes. Because of the
width of the skirt, we encourage you to use one of our Tropical
Breeze fabrics. In other fabrics, the skirt will still be full
but not quite as wide as the pattern calls for at the hem.

Cape dresses are best made with
lightweight fabrics because of the number of layers the zipper must

Ladies Nicole's Dress
A popular style with small tucks
at the waist, puffed elbow-length sleeves with narrow cuffs and a
long, full skirt. The bodice falls just above the waist on most
women. It can be an everyday dress or a formal, special
occasion outfit when made in the right fabric. Try adding a collar
or long sleeves for variation. The basic dress comes without a
collar (pointed and round collars shown) and short elbow-length sleeves with cuffs.

Victoria's
Dress
This is the dress we often make
for ourselves. Similar in design to Nicole's Dress, we remove
the puffed sleeves and add sleeves without gathers at the shoulders
for a mature look. There are small tucks at the waist and a
long, full skirt. The bodice falls just above the waist on
most women. You may choose either elbow length hemmed sleeves,
3/4 length or long, elastic ruffle sleeves. A
pointed collar and back ties are included in the price. Approximate

Weekday Dress
Another dress appreciated by our customers. It is best described as
a shirt-dress with a raised waist, a modified shirt collar and
buttons down the bodice. Sleeves are short and the skirt is slightly
less full than Nicole's Dress. Both long and short sleeves are
straight with only a few tiny tucks at the shoulder. The shoulders
are a little wider than most of our other dresses and the fit is
quite comfortable. Removable back ties pull the dress in when
desired. A little different from our other dresses and a very

Mary's
Dress
Another everyday design with
short sleeves (shorter than our other dresses), a scoop neckline and front buttons. The bodice
ends at the natural waist and has darts in the front and back,
giving this dress a tailored look.
The sleeves have small gathers at the shoulders but are not "puffy". The skirt is gathered and full. This is a great casual dress

Pullover Dress
Super simple and quite pretty. Our pullover dress has a
gently scooped neckline and bodice which slips over the head without any need for
buttons. A loose fitting dress, the back ties allow you to pull in the bodice for a
better fit. Long and short sleeves are straight with only a few tiny tucks and hemmed. The skirt can be gathered as shown or A-Line without
gathers for a trimmer look. Please see Overall Jumper for a

The bodice is slightly raised, like our Weekday Dress. You are welcome to choose two different fabrics. If so, when
you list your fabrics please put the bodice fabric first and the

Linda's Shirt Dress
This shirt dress reminds us of a
classic jean dress. It is versatile and comes with many
options. It fits quite loosely for busy days but has back ties
to pull in the waist. Sleeves are either short with a straight
hem or long with cuffs. The shirt collar folds back as shown
but behind it there is a top button should you wish to button all
the way up. If so, the dress appears to have a simple square
collar. The skirt is gathered to the waist and is full at the
hem but smaller at the waist. Because of how loosely this fits,
we suggest that you keep the back ties, even if you normally
wouldn't order them. If you want a true "jean dress"
look, you may add buttons down the entire front of the dress. We would not recommend this
dress for ladies who are a small size 6. Approximate finished

Joy's
Day Dress
A relaxed and youthful dress,
Joy's Day Dress is perfect for busy moms or anyone else who gets a
lot of work done during daylight hours. The scoop neck does
not come too low but easily slips over your head. Sleeves are
short with a simple hem. The skirt is gathered to the
waist and is cut quite full at the hem but smaller at the waist.
Two patch pockets are sewn to the front skirt, but can be left off if
you prefer. This dress fits quite loosely at the waist and
comes with back ties. We would not recommend this dress for
anyone who is a small size 6. Approximate finished length from
