Sending your own fabric:
If you would like us to sew our garments in fabric you have purchased, you may mail it to us with your order. Please be aware of the shrinkage levels of the fabric you are sending. If necessary, wash and tumble dry first.  If you have washed your fabric, please iron before mailing. We prefer to sew with cotton or poly/cotton materials only.  If we receive a fabric which is hard to work with, there will be a $5 charge per garment and we will contact you before moving forward with the order.  Please calculate shipping based on garment prices before discounts.  If you have provided enough for shipping, we shall return unused material along with your new clothing.

We highly recommend a trip to your local quilt store for fabric.  While quilt stores charge more than the mainline fabric store, you will be surprised by the difference in quality. Many have great discount racks.  While we are happy to sew any cottons you send, please be aware that clothing made from lower quality materials will not last as long or drape as nicely as the cottons we provide.

If you enjoy Tropical Breeze fabrics but don't find what you like on our fabric page, you may buy directly from Gehman's and they will ship the fabric to us.  Please e-mail for exact yardage requirements before you buy as Tropical Breeze fabrics are wider than most cottons.

For high quality cotton florals online, we would recommend Connecting Threads.  They retail their own line of cottons for $5.96/yd and $5.08/yd on sale, which is easily $2 less per yard than most quilt shops.  We have sewn with these fabrics and find their quality to be equal to other quilting fabrics.   www.connectingthreads.com

If you are ordering online and need a pattern alteration, simply send us an e-mail letting us know exactly what you want or use the comments box on the checkout page.  We will then send you to our Custom Ladies page where you can enter alteration charges.

We do not pre-wash our fabric. Please allow for approximately 1 inch shrinkage per yard on our 100% cotton fabrics. That being said, you don't need to order up a size for yourself or your girls. Our sizing leaves room for a child's growth and women's garments are sized to fit fairly loosely.  Any exceptions are noted in the specific garment description.

If you are unhappy with any of your items, please give us a call so that we can work something out.  Because our clothing is custom-made specifically for you, we do not  take returns except in very special circumstances.  If we need to re-make an item for you, we may be able to work out one-time special pricing.  Please measure carefully before ordering and don't be shy about calling with questions.
